1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GolfPools.co ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GolfPools provides a platform for creating and managing fantasy golf pools. Pool commissioners create pools for professional golf tournaments, and participants make player picks to compete on a leaderboard. GolfPools is a free-to-play platform and does not involve real money wagering between participants.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Creating pools requires a paid subscription. Joining pools is free. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at support@golfpools.co.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Create multiple accounts to abuse promotions or free trials
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service without permission

6. Data & Privacy

We collect your email address, display name, and payment information (processed securely by Stripe). We do not sell your personal data. Tournament and pool data may be visible to other pool participants. For questions about your data, contact support@golfpools.co.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of golf scores, leaderboard data, or projected earnings displayed on the platform. Score data is sourced from third-party providers and may experience delays or inaccuracies.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GolfPools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
